RECRUIT

Seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher

Laboratory Structure Visualization Team, Materials Visualization Photon Science Group, Photon Science Research Division, RIKEN SPring-8 Center
(Team Leader: Yukio Takahashi)
Research Field The structure visualization team is developing a multi-scale coherent X- ray diffraction imaging technique using the SPring-8 and SACLA facilities. This provides a window to the layered space structures of inhomogeneous complex systems in materials sciences and life sciences. We also applied our technique to observe functional materials, such as catalyst materials and energy transducers, and biological specimen such as cells. Our goal is for our technique to become an established structure visualization tool that enables a true understanding of the functionality in materials sciences and life sciences.
Job title Postdoctoral Researcher: one
Development and application of coherent diffraction imaging techniques by using SPring-8 and SACLA
Qualification Ph. D (or equivalent research ability and background) in relevant research areas of synchrotron X-rays, coherent X-ray optics, or phase retrieval, etc.
