SPring-8 and RIKEN Harima Institute were opened to the public on April 23. At the RIKEN exhibition space in Storage Ring, many people were interested in the precious facilities and the forefront research topics. They enjoyed the world's most advanced research information and the experimental facilities developed by RIKEN.
It was fine that day and there were about 2,500 visitors.
