Kitamura Hideo, Chief Scientist, received the Science and Technology Award by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology(2005.4.13)

The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) awards the persons who have the distinguished achievement in Science and Technology, education for children, and the impressive ability in Japan. KITAMURA Hideo, Chief Scientist, Director of Coherent Synchrotron Light Source Physics Laboratory, received the Science-Technology Award for the excellent research, "the Short Period In-vacuum Undulators". On April 20, as a part of the special event in Science and Technology Week, the awarding ceremony was held at a hotel 'Toranomon Pastoral' in Tokyo.
