SPring-8 and RIKEN Harima Institute were exhibited on April 26. Many children and visitors enjoyed the holography, the pierrot is dancing in three dimensions, and the experiment which examine the function of enzyme using its own saliva. At the science lecture entitled "The Life Science in the 21st Century", Tetsutaro Iizuka, the vice- director, introduced about the latest and epoch-making research using SPring-8. The visitors were listening to the lecture eagerly and questioned actively. It is fine weather and there were about 2800 visitors (though the previous year was 2400).
