Expertise : Takashi Tanisho received a master’s degree from the Engineering Department of Applied Mathematics and Physics at Kyoto University in 1973. Later that year, he joined the Hitachi Zosen Corporation. For the next 20 years, he designed electronic instrumentation and control for various machines and plants. From 2007 to 2009, he served as Director and Vice-President of an affiliate company, Hitz High-Technology Corporation. Since 2013, he has served as a representative director, President & COO of Hitachi Zosen Corporation. From 2011 to 2013, he also served as the Vice President of Japan Vacuum Industry Association (JVIA).
