Expertise : Kazutaka Hayashi graduated from Tokyo Institute of Technology Department of Applied Physics in 1982. He pursed his studies on linear accelerator at the Institute and received master’s degree in 1984. Hayashi joined Mitsubishi Electric Corp. in 1984 and designed klystrons, traveling wave tubes, neutron detectors and microwave amplifiers at the company’s Communication Equipment Works. Since 2008, he has mainly been designing LLRF (low-level RF) for accelerators at Mitsubishi Electric TOKKI Systems Corporation. He serves as Accelerator Project Manager in Electronic Engineering Department of the company since 2013.
