Expertise : Katsuhiko Furuya in 1975 graduated from the School of Engineering Science at Osaka University joined Nichicon Corporation. He developed a klystron power supply for KEK TRISTAN and a power supply using pulse magnets for SPring-8 in 1994. From 2007 to 2009, he served as a Director of Nichicon Corporation. Since 2009 he has　served as Executive Officer. In 2010, he was appointed as a project leader of the NECST Project in Nichicon. Upon completion of the project in 2013、 he became a NECST Division Chief Engineer.
