Expertise : Di-Jing Huang completed his PhD at the University of Texas at Austin, USA in 1994. He is a physicist with research focus on experimental solide state physics, strongly correlated electron systems, electronic structure of transition-metal oxides and synchrotron-based soft x-ray spectroscopy. He joined the NSRRC and as an associate scientist in Research Division from 1996 to 2004. Since 2005, he joined the Department of Electrophysics, National Chiao-Tung University and Department of Physics, National Tsing-Hua University and as a joint-appointment professor. In 2008, he led the Division of Scientific Research in NSRRC as a Division Head, and served as the deputy director of NSRRC since 2010.
