In 2011, Graduate School of Life Science of University of Hyogo stared the “Leading Program” guided by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.One of the unique proposals in the program by University of Hyogo is complulsory subjects of the practical experiment for students performed with state-of-the-art equipments involving SPring-8, SACLA and J-PARC. To support these practical experiments in SPring-8 and SALA, RIKEN SPring-8 Center (RSC) is strongly linked to the establishment of RSC-University of Hyogo Leading Program Center. This Center will contribute for the Leading Program students to learn about the world's leading photon-science technology while refining their research skills on the way to becoming expert researchers in the analysis of life phenomena. Through this program, it could be anticipated that leaders who will use these facilities to unearth new fields of research will be cultivated.
